I am a contemporary artist who is doing interdisciplinary work. I create mixed-media painting, drawing, and sometimes creating installation pieces as the extension of my 2D works.

My work's conceptual background is embedded somewhere in the intersecting point between "Zen" and "Phenomenology". Zen, the eastern wisdom tradition, focuses on pure awareness and mindfulness, and Phenomenology, the study in Western philosophy, describes human consciousness on the self, the world, and the restoration. I try to conceive a unitary worldview regarding the overall flow of my work.

I am constantly drawn to create art pieces that reflect the vital energy of mundane objects and natural elements that activate the artist in me. Therefore, I can say that my art pieces are the records that document my moments immersed in the feeling of the breathtaking wonder of existence.

My artworks show the progression of a response to that inherent, invisible energy behind all of the nature and objects in reality by showing their vitality and feelings through visual artistic elements. Each piece of my work captures the moment that contains the consciousness and energy I can get from my contemplation.

The natural world consists of energy, which I can feel whenever I immerse myself in it. Life is a continuity of ongoing moments overlapped by time and space. So, every moment of life is unique and special, alive, and breathing. Magical colors of nature and objects make me wonder all the time. From a tiny little seed to an enormous mountain, every element of nature has invisible vitality. Their colors come from their energy, awakening my various feelings and senses. These broad and deep feelings touch me, leaving me speechless and opening my creative outlet. Objects in mundane places inspire me because they contain their abundant energy and history within them. Feelings towards the objects that appeal to me with that energy also give a sense of existence.

Rich and deep feelings draw me to use various materials for the abstract images in my artwork. Using various materials and getting some wonderful results by mixing the materials gives me great joy. When I accomplish an art piece by immersing myself in it, I can feel myself facing the true me. That is the moment that I can be unified with my true nature and my work.

I want to unify the cultivation of my mind and ecological healing by exploring the spiritual insight of myself and nature. I hope to share it with other people through the visualizing process on my artworks.
